| USCIS will begin using a new verification tool, Customer Identity Verification (CIV), at field offices starting today, Monday, September 9, 2013. Individuals will now submit fingerprints and photographs when appearing at USCIS offices for interviews or to receive evidence of an immigration benefit. Technical issues, which have now been resolved, delayed the original launch. |
